DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPEUTIC ASSESSMENTS
AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS (ASD)
ASD are neurodevelopmental conditions, but quite often, not recongnised until adulthoood. The specific assessment we provide is based on a pluridisplinary approach including a global evaluation, not limited to the diagnosis.
The overall objective of the global evaluation is to identify both the strengths as well as the specific challenges met by the patient.
Each patient presenting with ASD is indeed unique, with specific needs, and will therefore require a tailored management of her/his specificities.
Beyond the diagnosis, the global assessment will offer a patient- customized approach, taking into account validated approaches to address the very specific challenges presented by the patient.
Our global and multidisplinary assessment will be using validated and standardized tools, as recommended by national and international health autorities (HAS in France, NICE in the UK).
The neuropsychological asssesment will be conducted by Mrs Axelle MARTINEZ-TERUEL-LEFEVRE and Mrs Charlyne DUWIME, as qualified neuropsychologists.

SCHIZOPHRENIA
BIPOLAR DISORDERS
Schizophrenia and bipolar disorders affect approximately 2% of the population.
Their prognosis heavily depends on early and relevant diagnosis. In France, unfortunately, a 10 years delay in the diagnosis of bipolar disorders and 3 to 5 years delay in the diagnosis of schizophrenia is observed.
Late diagnosis and inappropriate treatments have important and deleterious impacts on both patients social functionning as well as the occurrence of medical comorbidities. Accurate diagnosis is therefore of utmost importance, for an early and appropriate management of the disease, tailored to the patient specific case.
Moreover, certain subtypes of schizophrenia or bipolar disorders display a poor response to usual treatments. It is therefore critical to explore other options for the patient disease management, especially in non-responders.
EMDR CHILDREN
EMDR is a validated treatment approach for Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD). Dr Nora HAMDANI is trained in the treatment of children presenting PTSD, using EMDR.
